Hello My Name Is...

Katie Cooper

Welcome!!  I have been teaching at Salmon High School since September of 2008.  I am a graduate of Salmon High School and Montana State University.  For the last five years, I worked for Montana State in the Agricultural Education Department.

I am the Agricultural Education instructor here at the High School.  My classes include Introduction to Agricultural Education, Introduction to Agricultural Mechanics, Welding I,  Agricultural Structures, Small Gas Engines, Welding II, Large Engines, Landscape Design and Agricultural Fabrication. 

My husband Jeff and I have two boys, Tristan age 3 and Keelan age 2.  We are so thankful we get to raise our family here in the beautiful Lemhi Valley!!  My hobbys include kids, horses, and the outdoors.  Jeff and I also own and operate CP Excavation, LLC and Cooper Performance Horses.

I strive to challenge each individual student to their maximum potential and to help students find validity in the classroom.  Every student should leave my class each day having found success and having learned something that will be beneficial to them in their path to the future.
